I Believe Your Story Matters
Joshua Pepper MS, ALC, NCC
Everyone has a Story:
A collection of our successes and failures, joys and sorrows, accomplishments and regrets, and experiences of safety and harm. Think of your story as a camera lens through which you view the world around you and relate to the people in your life. It even informs how and why you behave the way you do.
I believe these stories also inform how we make decisions and manage our emotions — our internal system. By integrating Narrative Therapy based on the work of Dan Allender and the Internal Family Systems modality of Dr. Dick Schwartz, we will work to make sense of your stories and parts, learning from them and mapping the impact they have had on your life. In doing so, with time, we can unburden the parts of your internal system that negatively affect you and bring healing and restoration where harm has been done.
