Individual Counseling
I believe we are a collection of stories and parts, all of which define who we are and how we relate to the world around us. In Individual Counseling, we will work one-on-one to make sense of your stories and parts, learning from them and mapping the impact they have had on your life. Utilizing my years of experience in story and parts work, we will assume a posture of gentleness and patient curiosity to engage your stories and parts with honor and honesty.
Individual sessions commonly focus on Anxiety, Depression, Early Childhood Experiences, Family of Origin, Relational Issues, Unwanted Behaviors, and Important Life Decisions or Transitions.
I specialize in trauma-informed care and have experience helping clients with PTSD, sexual abuse, and spiritual abuse.
Couples Counseling
I believe that couples counseling is crucial. Fostering a nurturing and intentional attitude can transform even the healthiest of relationships. Together, we will explore behavior and communication patterns, how our families of origin impact our relational styles, and employ time-tested methods to uncover problem areas and behaviors to forge a lasting and meaningful connection.
Couples Sessions often address Conflict, Communication, Navigating Extended Family issues, Parenting, Sexual Health, and Important Life Decisions or Transitions.
I specialize in trauma-informed care and have experience working with couples who have experienced betrayal and infidelity.
Intensive Counseling
Sometimes, an individual may desire more time to explore a specific story, problem, or wound. For such individuals, I offer intensive counseling sessions. These Individual Intensive Sessions are intended to complement individual counseling and include pre-intensive assignments designed to help focus your heart and mind. Over the course of one day (4 Hours) or three days (12 hours), we will follow a specific outline to maximize our time together.
Step 1: We will work together to name the message, theme, or wound reflected in your specific story.
Step 2: We will bring to light and decipher the conscious and subconscious vows or promises that you made to yourself in response, identifying how those vows or promises are affecting parts of your internal system and are reflected in present-day behavior patterns
Step 3: We will work together to unburden those affected parts and find a path forward to wholeness.
